LMS OB Ideas

Well, this is mostly a place for me to store ideas for the server, and you guys to comment on them. I am welcome to ANY AND ALL ideas from your own mind, or another server. I can code, but I'm no ubar-leet-pro.

Ideas:

Elite Levels.

You gain in item after each class rebirth. Out of the 12 classes, you must rebirth through 8 of them. After you gain 8 of these 'Tokens' you may talk to the Epic Leveler. He will send you out to to random quests and tasks to gain one level (IE: 201...202) Then once you obtain level 240 (Final Elite level) You get access to watered-down Gm commands. (IE: A !map command, but on a cooldown timer)

Handling Donations

Upon donating, I'll give you a token and that token will be spent at a NPC who will give you assorted options for spending the tokens. You may buy access to donors island with your tokens. Donor island will have a Music Changing NPC, a wide open area for easy leveling, Donor-Exclusive NPCs and Quests, among other things. Or you may buy traditional Equips with your tokens. (Gotta figure out a way to close a shop after a purchase x.x)

NX In General

You will gain ONE NX point from each monster killed. It will be gained just like EXP, passively. As for events, instead of shoving 100+ pieces of NX you'll never wear down your throat, the NX monsters are going to drop NX tickets, which can be redeemed at a NPC for something like 100 points. So, after an event, you could end up with 3-4k NX points. Also, donations will be a well-worth it way of obtaining NX. Also, fully leveled champion characters will have access to a few pieces of exclusive NX that are donor / champ exclusive.

Those are two thing off the top of my head. If you have any ideas that are just plain awesome, lemme know in this thread. Or just comment upon the two that are there already.

Are you serious? People get GM Commands?

I disagree about any normal player getting even a watered down GM command, because they can just not use their GM commands until they decide to be an asshole and warp to someone's boss map and KS them out of their boss and then just continue to follow them in the room to do the same over and over again.

Make then rebirth twice for each class, that'd make it harder.

FOREVER to Level to 240. With a Whole Lot of Rebirths.

It wont be alot of GM Commands but maybe a Command for only for the person that reached it
It could start with #(command) and for donators $(command)

Except for @str/dex/int/luk and @online and @rebirth if needed. and what do you mean traditional items?

I dunno, some no life will get it in a couple of days. I'm still against it and I think its a fucking stupid idea for a normal player to have GM commands.

k, I'll say if you do all of that, you can get the !online commands. Only.

Meh. It would be like once a day, and I can restrict maps... I just want there to be a greater goal in maple other than endless grinding. Any other ideas that would draw people?

PvP?

I agree with Snorki, no regular player should be able to use GM commands. And I think that the fact that Llama has multiple games should draw people.

PvP sucks balls. Its stupid.


And whats a "traditional item"?

A traditional item is a main stream item, therefor one that's available in stores, or by hunting. (:

New idea added. More to come. I'm in a brainstorming mood.

I like the nx tokens idea.
