Economic Crisis

How do you guys feel about the economic crisis, of course it's effecting everyone and everything... How is it effecting you?

Its hurtin my family for sure.
It sucks monkey nuts.
I cant get as many things anymore.
And also.
My moms my only parent.
So its harder on her.

Even in Canada, it's affecting us too. The stocks that my parents have are really low. And we were going to buy a nice new TV but now we can't for a while... Sad.

Ya, people are going fucking crazy. Just 2 days ago, 3 streets from where I live, this guy pulled up at a gas station. And 3 black people just ran up with baseball bats, hit him, and jacked his money.

Well Let's see.........Dad lost money from stocks....I still have my PSP and Comp.....I still watch TV When eva When i want......I buy stuff for when i want and When......My life is going pretty Good if i say so myself o.o

Sorry John, I guess that sounded selfish. I'm in a pretty decent standpoint of life right now, but it is a worry to my parents. We lost 300,000 dollars worth of stocks. Not money but its like 300,000 dollars that now we can't get.

It's all in stocks. From my dad's company. Basically he put money in it, and it grew. And now it went WAY DOWN....but it will go back up soon. He knows about money fluctuation because he is an accountant.

I always do that. And the new plan for Canada at least is a carbon tax but I don't think that is going to go through...

It is a tax on the amount of harmful chemicals that everyone uses. It will especially tax the larger companies. It's just another way to try and deter people from using too much fossil fuels. The less they pollute, the less they have to pay.

Thanks John. Another thing about the carbon tax now is that it might not go through because the Conservatives got elected instead of the Liberals. But it's still a minority government, so we shall see.
